從小學開始接觸音樂，學琴已有數十載。雖然大學進修的不是鋼琴演奏，但亦堅持每日磨練自己的鋼琴詣藝及演奏技巧，不讓自己的琴技生疏，練得一身即席演奏及伴奏的好本領，繼而考獲了演奏級最高級別的資歷，並展開了音樂教育及伴奏的工作，從中領悟到學琴就如修道一樣，除了要保持正確的心態、心理素養及自律性外，更要不斷挑戰自己的舒適圈，嘗試不同難度、不同風格的歌目，音樂知識亦要不斷的推進。除了跟名師進修鋼琴流行編曲進階技巧外，亦開始涉獵爵士鋼琴，對音樂的理解更全面。

Ching Lok has been learning piano for over several decades since primary school. Even though his major is not in piano performance, he keeps practicing piano everyday to improve the piano techniques and performance skills. As a result, he has attained the highest-diploma level and has started his career of being a piano teacher and accompanist. From those job experiences, he realized piano learning is similar to the understanding of “Tao”, which means that not only should we develop a positive mindset and self-discipline from the piano practices, but also keep on challenging the comfort zone and improving the music understanding by harnassing various styles and difficulties of the songs. Currently, Ching Lok is also taking the advanced voicing lessons for pop music and dabbled in jazz music.
