Currently a professional and experienced piano, accompaniment, and vocal teacher, he possesses top‑tier piano technique and a wide, powerful voice with expressive highs.

No longer content to accompany others, he chooses to step into the spotlight, showcasing his individuality through songwriting and self‑accompanied performance.

Bold, direct, and authentic, his music is both a challenge and a declaration — carving out new boundaries within Cantonese pop.

My Journey

I graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a major in Food and Nutrition, and later worked in PR, sales, and marketing for many years. Although the job was stable and not bad, I always felt the urge to pursue something more meaningful.

I once debated whether to hold on to financial security or to follow my personal ambition. Deep down, I knew I would be much happier choosing the latter. I began developing a side hustle in piano teaching and accompanying. Eventually, after losing my full-time sales position, I decided to dedicate myself fully to music.

At first, I worked hard to pursue the classical pianist pathway, but I realized that long recitals were not my strength. Instead, I discovered that composition and music production — things I had been doing casually in my free time — might actually be my true talent.

Driven by the desire to sing my own songs, I learned vocal performance and even became a vocal teacher by chance. I also have a strong ambition to release my own songs commercially. Yet I often procrastinate when it comes to arrangement and recording, and I know I must actively tackle challenges and seek help from other music professionals.

I chose to be different, and I have no regrets. While many people prefer stability, I want to stand apart. What I need now is to stay determined and unwavering, to keep working on my music and to be true to myself.
